Ready to Transmogrify Your Relationship?
You don't have to carry this alone. It's time to find balance, compassion, and connection together.
Why Now Matters
You've been the one pushing, fixing, and holding space for change. That exhaustion isn't a flaw in you, it's a pattern handed down through conditioning about who's supposed to carry feelings and who gets to avoid them. You want more ease, more partnership, and less emotional labor, and naming where that imbalance actually comes from is part of how it shifts.
It's hard to keep showing up from exhaustion. Let's find a path that gives you relief and genuine connection, no more blame, no pressure.
Meet Your Guide
I'm Melissa Ryan, and I help couples co-create partnerships you don't have to carry alone. Rooted in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), nature-based methods, and somatic awareness, I offer guidance through the lens of my own relational recovery while being grounded in current research and tailored to you.
I help couples see the systems they're caught in, colonial, patriarchal, capitalist patterns that show up in your fights about dishes, sex, money, and parenting, and I guide you toward something freer, more playful, vibrant, and fun. This work is personal for me too. I come from Western European ancestors, and part of what I bring to this guide role is my own ongoing repair with that lineage, naming the patterns it handed down and choosing, again and again, not to pass them forward unexamined.
My approach is collaborative. We work together to shift patterns, reduce resentment, and help you both feel seen, respected, and reconnected.
What to Expect
- A warm, no-pressure space where both your stories matter
- Insightful conversations grounded in compassion not blame
- Practical tools and rituals that support change beyond the session
- Gentle encouragement to uncover what's next, one step at a time
Choose the Path That Fits You
Every couple's journey looks a little different. Some thrive with steady, ongoing support, while others find breakthrough in an immersive transmogrification. There's no one "right" way, just the approach that best meets your relationship's needs right now.
Virtual Sessions
Pros
- Steady accountability that helps old patterns surface where you can actually see and shift them
- Fits into the rhythm of your real life instead of asking you to escape it
- Room to practice new ways of relating between sessions, then come back and refine them
- A consistent guide through the ordinary ups and downs, not just the crisis moments
Cons
- Change unfolds gradually, which asks for patience with yourselves, not just with the process
- The same daily demands that wore you down can interrupt momentum if you let them run the calendar
- Takes real coordination across schedules and childcare, which is its own small practice in partnership
Investment
- 90-minute sessions — $300
- Bi-monthly sessions (~2x per month)
- Steady work over time, with space to practice what you're learning in your actual life
Outdoor Intensives
Pros
- Compresses months of insight into days with focused attention and intention.
- Uninterrupted time together, away from the daily demands that usually cut a hard conversation short.
- Being on the land shifts something in the body that a therapy office rarely reaches.
- Built like a retreat, so the depth of the work matches the depth of the commitment you're making to each other
Cons
- Asks for more upfront time and energy than fitting a session into an ordinary week
- A higher financial investment, reflecting the length and depth of the work rather than a single hour
- Old conflict sometimes rises before it resolves, which is the pattern surfacing, not the process failing
Investment
- 2-Hour Hiking Session — $550
- Half or full day Intensives starting at $1500
- Immersive, land-based work, built around your schedule rather than a weekly slot
You don't need to have it all figured out.
I'm here to help.
